Wands... Hmmm... Where to begin.
Well
I guess the best place to start is at the beginning. When the
Bubble Fairy was still in her infancy, there was the issue of
working at the Renaissance Faire, and making the bubble tools
time appropriate. Or simply put, how to make a bubble wand without
plastic. The first bubble tools I made were from willow branches.
Easy enough to find, worked really well when green, however, I
found that as they dried out, they became very brittle and would
break easily. So, back to the drawing board. I was in the craft
store one day just looking around trying to get ideas for several
projects at once,I'm sure you know how Tinker Fairies can be!!
Anyway... there it was, the medium I would use for my "Famous"
Bubble Fairy Bubble Wands. Rattan, readily available, non polluting,
sustainable, earth friendly, plus not to mention it works much
better than plastic, or worse yet, metal. Have you ever bought
one of those real fancy bubble wands at a fair or festival only
to get it home and it only makes mediochor bubbles at best?
My
Bubble Fairy Bubble Wands work better than any wands I have ever
used. These wands are the exact same wands I use when performing,
so you know they are reliable. With very basic care these wands
will last for years. Some of the wands I use every day, are wands
I have had since the beginning in 2003.
